Installation [12/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE:
      • Make sure that the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) is securely installed.
      • If the ECU integration box RH is deformed or damaged, replace it.
      • Do not bend the 2 claws more than necessary.

  2. INSTALL ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [12/2019 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [11/2023 - ]

  3. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [10/2022 - ]

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [10/2022 - ]

  5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH END PANEL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [10/2022 - ]

  6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  7. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 51 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 49 [10/2022 - ]

  8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 52 [12/2019 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 50 [10/2022 - ]
