Installation [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY 
    1. Put the roof headlining assembly into the vehicle through the back door as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction
      NOTE:

      Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or vehicle interior.

    2. Connect the 2 connectors.
    3. for Normal Roof:
      1. Install the roof headlining assembly with the 6 clips.
    4. for Moon Roof:
      1. Engage the 11 fasteners and install the roof headlining assembly with the 4 clips.
      2. Connect the connector.
    5. for Panoramic Moon Roof:
      1. Engage the 20 fasteners and install the roof headlining assembly with the 2 clips.
      2. Connect the connector.
    6. for Rear Pillar LH Side:
      1. Connect the washer hose assembly.
      2. Connect the connector.
    7. for Front Pillar LH Side:
      1. Connect the washer hose assembly.
      2. Connect the 3 connectors.
      3. Engage the 4 clamps.
    8. for Front Pillar RH Side:
      1. Install the bolt.

        Torque: 12.5 N.m (127 kgf/cm, 9 ft.lbf) 

      2. Connect the 3 connectors.
      3. Engage the 4 clamps.
    9. for Windshield Glass Side:
      1. Connect each connector.
  2. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the base of each visor holder as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the visor holder as shown in the illustration.

  3. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Connect the visor assembly LH to the visor holder.

      *1 Visor Holder
    2. Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, install the visor assembly LH with the 2 screws.
  4. INSTALL VISOR BRACKET COVER LH (w/ Cover) 
    1. Engage the 4 claws to install the visor bracket cover.
  5. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. INSTALL VISOR BRACKET COVER RH (w/ Cover) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for all assist grip sub-assemblies.

    1. Install the 2 clips to the assist grip.

      *a Assist Grip
    2. Temporarily install the 2 assist grip covers to the assist grip as shown in the illustration.
    3. Engage the 2 clips to install the assist grip assembly as shown in the illustration.

    4. Engage the 4 claws to install the assist grip cover LH and assist grip cover RH.

      NOTE:

      Make sure that the clips are engaged securely.

  8. INSTALL REAR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY LH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the assist grip sub-assembly.

  9. INSTALL REAR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY LH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the assist grip sub-assembly.

  10. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SIDE AIR DUCT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  11. INSTALL COOLER PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  12. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  13. INSTALL UPPER SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR COVER 
    1. Pass the anchor of the rear No. 2 seat 3 point type belt assembly through the upper shoulder belt anchor cover.

    2. Engage the 6 claws and 3 clips to install the upper shoulder belt anchor cover.
  14. INSTALL SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY (except Panoramic Moon Roof) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  15. INSTALL MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  16. INSTALL NO. 1 FORWARD RECOGNITION COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [09/2020 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [11/2023 - ]

  17. INSTALL NO. 2 FORWARD RECOGNITION COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [09/2020 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [11/2023 - ]

  18. INSTALL RAIN SENSOR COVER (w/ Rain Sensor) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  19. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install 2 new roof side garnish clips to the inner roof side garnish assembly LH.

      *2 Inner Roof Side Garnish Assembly LH

      HINT: 

      Make sure that the roof side garnish clip is engaged correctly.

    2. Pass the anchor of the rear No. 2 seat outer belt assembly LH through the inner roof side garnish assembly LH.
    3. Engage the 6 clips as shown in the illustration.

    4. Engage the 2 clips to install the inner roof side garnish assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

  20. INSTALL QUARTER PILLAR GARNISH LH 
    1. Pass the anchor of the rear seat outer belt assembly LH through the quarter pillar garnish LH.
    2. Engage the guide, 2 clips and claw to install the quarter pillar garnish LH.
  21. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. w/ Voltage Inverter:
      1. Connect the connector.
    2. Engage the 5 guides, 10 clips and claw.
    3. Install the deck trim side panel assembly LH with the 3 bolts.
  22. INSTALL ROPE HOOK (for LH Side) 
    1. Install the 2 rope hooks with the 2 bolts.

    2. Engage the 4 claws as shown in the illustration.
  23. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (for LH Side) 
    1. Turn the No. 1 luggage compartment trim hook as shown in the illustration to install it.

  24. INSTALL DECK TRIM POCKET COVER (for LH Side) 
    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the deck trim pocket cover.

  25. CONNECT REAR NO. 2 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  26. INSTALL NO. 2 DECK SIDE TRIM COVER 
    1. Engage the 4 claws and clip to install the No. 2 deck side trim cover as shown in the illustration.

  27. CONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  28. INSTALL FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER LH 
    1. Engage the 3 guides and 5 clips.
    2. Install the front deck side trim cover LH with the clip.
  29. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  30. INSTALL QUARTER PILLAR GARNISH RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  31. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Engage the 5 guides, 10 clips and claw.
    2. Install the deck trim side panel assembly RH with the 3 bolts.
  32. INSTALL ROPE HOOK (for RH Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  33. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (for RH Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  34. INSTALL DECK TRIM POCKET COVER (for RH Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  35. INSTALL COOLER (NO. 2 ROOM TEMP. SENSOR) THERMISTOR (w/ Rear Automatic Air Conditioning System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [12/2019 - 11/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [11/2023 - ]

  36. CONNECT REAR NO. 2 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  37. INSTALL NO. 1 DECK SIDE TRIM COVER 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 deck side trim cover.

  38. CONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  39. INSTALL FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER RH 
    1. Engage the 2 guides and 5 clips.
    2. Install the front deck side trim cover RH with the clip.
  40. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Pass the anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH through the center pillar garnish assembly LH.
    2. Engage the 2 guides and clip as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction
    3. Engage the guide.
    4. Install the center pillar garnish assembly LH with the 2 clips.
  41. INSTALL LOWER CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LH 
    1. Engage the 2 clips and 4 claws to install the lower center pillar garnish LH as shown in the illustration.

  45. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 
    1. Engage the guide, 3 clips and 5 claws to install the rear door scuff plate LH.

  46. INSTALL REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH 
    1. Engage the 2 guides and 6 clips to install the rear outer seat track bracket cover LH.
  47. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the protective cover.
    2. Install 2 new front pillar garnish clips to the front pillar garnish assembly LH.

      HINT: 

      Make sure that the front pillar garnish clip is engaged correctly.

    3. w/ Front No. 3 Speaker:
      1. Connect the connector.
    4. Push the front pillar garnish assembly LH as shown in the illustration to engage the 2 guides.

  64. INSTALL DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH (w/o Woofer) 
    1. Engage the 4 claws to install the deck side trim box LH.
  65. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX 
    1. Engage the 2 clips and 7 claws.
    2. Install the rear deck floor box with the nut.
    3. Install the 7 clips.
  66. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER 
    1. Engage the 2 guides and 6 claws to install the battery service hole cover.
  67. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover) 
    1. Install the tonneau cover assembly.
  68. INSTALL NO. 3 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Woofer) 
    1. Install the No. 3 deck board sub-assembly.
  69. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the deck board assembly.
